MCDONALD BLOCK
While working with Weatherston Bruer Associates (WBA), I had a chance to work on an exterior interpretive heritage signage located at the North-East corner of the site of Bay Street and Wellesely Street West. Agenda was to integrate the new signage with the existing landscape elements. In order to preserve the look and feel of this heritage space, we felt that a subtle and integrated approach was necessary to avoid visually competing with the existing elements. Eight sites were selected, two for each planter surrounding the pond. My work was to create design and mockups for the reader rail keeping in mind the disability factor.
